"Built in 1948 by Alfred & Helen Bienfang & family. This location was sold to Gene & Bobette Shelton in 1962. She passed away in 1985 & Gene remarried To Karen Miller. After his death in 1990, She & her son, Steven Miller, continued the operation.[1] (Full story lower on page, "The Story Behind".)

• The Rollerdrome was bought out last year [2010] by the city of Cedar Falls through the Federal Emergency Management Agency's flood mitigation program.[5]
